How would you like to take a peek at the world’s most expensive home? Most of us, even the high society continue to have an appetite for incredibly expensive possessions. Billionaires make no exception especially when dealing with the most expensive home in the world.

Real-estate mogul and timber baron Tim Blixseth has constructed a 53,000 square foot mega manse located in the Yellowstone Club, a ski and golf development/resort just outside of Bozeman, Montana.

Forbes reports that the construction for the expensive home has a price tag will be $155 million, making it the most expensive home in the world. Previously publicized expensive homes include the $139 million Updown Court in Windlesham, England and the $125 million estate owned by Donald Trump in Palm Beach, Florida.

The 10-bedroom Montana mansion, appropriately named The Pinnacle, will sit on 160- acres of big sky mountaintop real estate and will come fully furnished with a private ski lift that will transport its owners up to the neighborhood’s private ski slopes. When you can afford a house like this, you can also expect it to come with an indoor/outdoor pool, home theater room, a stocked 8,000-bottle wine cellar, multiple fire places, four guest cottages, three elevators and even heated driveways and walkways. Construction on the world’s most expensive home is set to begin in June of 2007 and will take close to 15 months, Blixseth said. The cost of construction alone was between $35 and $40 million, not including the cost of the land which totals to 13,400 acres.

The most expensive house in the world will boast a rustic-like exterior made of stone, large wood beams and floor-to-ceiling glass. The mansion will also have an enormous underground garage capable of housing close to 40 cars, perfect for your everyday billionaire car collector.

Several members of the Forbes Billionaires List have already expressed interest in the home. Do you want to afford a home that reportedly costs $3,000 per square foot? Turn your dreams into reality. Nothing is impossible.
